Market Square Optical is Hiring an Optometrist Near Brooklyn, NY
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Optometrist to join our team at market Square optical. As an optometrist you will play a key role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health. Diagnose and treat visual conditions, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patient needs and preferences.
- Identify and manage common eye, disease and conditions, referring patient to specialist as needed. Educate patients about proper eye care, contact, lens use, and overall eye health.
- Maintain accurate, patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with our team, to provide a seamless and positive patient experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Dr. of optometry from an accredited optometry program.
- Valid state, optometry license, and DEA registration.
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, and providing clinical optometric care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patient focused approach.
- Proficiency in conducting refractions and prescribing corrective lenses.
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
